Georgios Vareltzidis
Assistant General Manager Wealth Management
George Vareltzidis joined NBG in January 2023 and is serving as Deputy General Manager Wealth Management. He hοlds managerial positions in the banking sector for the past 30 years.
During 1995-2006 he served in various managerial positions in Citibank Greece NA, namely CitiGold Relationship Manager, Director of Brokerage Services, Senior Director of Investment Products & Sales Support Division and Resident Vice-President of CitiGold Wealth Management.
In 2006 he joined Eurobank, initially as Sales Manager of Personal Banking Business Unit and from 2009 as Senior Director heading said Business Unit. In 2015 he was promoted to Assistant General Manager of Affluent Sector and Divisions of Deposits, Bancassurance and Sales Support. In 2019 he was appointed Deputy General Manager heading the General Division Individual Clients.
During 1992-1993 he worked as Product Manager in Marketing Division of Colgate Palmolive Hellas SAIC.
He graduated from the School of Business Administration of the Economic University of Athens (1986-1990) and holds an MBA degree from London Business School (1993-1995).
