If you're eligible for the Exoikonomo energy saving program, whether using your own funds or by obtaining a Save loan through NBG, you can also submit an application, exclusively through an NBG Branch, for an EXPRESS personal loan on favourable terms, and get additional financing to cover other expenses not covered by the Save program. EXPRESS Personal Loan offers a loan amount ranging from €300 to €6,000, a discount of 2 pps on the applicable interest rate, zero loan costs, as well as the option of joining an insurance Payment Protection Program (PPP).
Alternatively to the EXPRESS personal loan, as long as you're eligible for the Exoikonomo energy saving program through NBG, you can apply for the Estia – Renovation repair loan, on favourable terms to finance repair and/or renovation works not covered by the Save program. Specifically, you can request a loan amount ranging from €3,000 to €20,000, without mortgage prenotation, plus a discount of 1% on the interest rate applicable, as well as zero charges for review and approval of the loan request.
Loan amount: Up to €13,500 depending on the financial incentive category.
Interest rate: 6.50% fixed interest rate, 100% subsidized (plus levy under Law 128/75*).
Loan term 4, 5, or 6 years.
Option of advance payment: 70% of the loan amount.

Coverage of loan file management fees for the prospective beneficiaries of the program (zero cost for the customer).
Exclusively for the Beneficiaries of income category 1 entering into a loan agreement, the borrower can get a State guarantee to secure the loan with the financial organizations participating in the program. The State guarantee will cover 100% of the loan for owner-occupied residency and 80% for rent/free concession.
* The levy under Law 128/75*, which amounts to 0.12%, is incurred by the Beneficiary.
Loan amount: Up to €7,000
Interest rate: 50% of the concluded loan for the needs of the Program is financed by the Public Employment Service (DYPA) and is interest-free, while the interest rate for the remaining 50% is fixed at 8.00%, which means a fixed rate of 4% for the customer, plus the levy of Law 128/75*.
Loan term 4, 5, or 6 years
Option of advance payment: 70% of the loan amount without mortgage prenotation
Coverage of loan file management fees for the prospective beneficiaries of the program (zero cost for the customer).

A residential property, to be considered eligible, must be a detached house or an independent apartment that meets the following criteria:
Those eligible to apply for the program are natural persons born between 01/01/1984 and 31/12/2005 who have a full, usufruct, or bare ownership right over an eligible residence. The maximum eligible intervention budget cannot exceed the amount of €22,500.
Other eligible expenses will be covered by 100% (up to €2,500).
Loan applications are submitted only online and exclusively through the program’s official web portal https://exoikonomoneon.gov.gr , via which the interested party also receives the necessary pre-contractual information.
