How can I activate my card?

After accepting the terms governing the supply and use of your card through Internet Banking (provided you're a registered user) or through the NBG Branch Network, carry out your first card transaction at any NBG ATM, selecting “Card Activation” from the menu. For further information, we suggest you watch a brief instruction video created for you.

Do I have the option to not use the contactless transaction functionality on my card without using a PIN?

If you wish, you can deactivate or reactivate the functionality of contactless transactions carried out without using a PIN, either through the Internet & Mobile Banking applications, provided you're a registered user, or by submitting a relevant request to your NBG Branch, or by calling the Bank’s Contact Center.

What expense categories are available?

You can choose between the following expense categories: Food, Fuel, Travel, Client expenses and Transportation. Alternatively, the card may not be set with specific categories and be redeemed at one of the 34,000,000 businesses in the Mastercard network in Greece and globally.

Can I set transaction limits?

You can set different monthly transaction limits for each expense category.
